Car and Driver recognized four Genesis models in its 2026 Editors’ Choice Awards. The Genesis G80, G90, GV70 and GV80 were named as winners in their respective categories after editors carefully tested, evaluated, and inspected nearly 450 vehicles on the market today. To win, a vehicle must have earned a rating of at least 9 out of 10 stars from Car and Driver’s expert vehicle reviewers.

“In just a decade, Genesis has surpassed one and a half million vehicles sold globally – an important milestone that reflects the strong momentum behind our brand,” said Tedros Mengiste, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America. “As we continue to grow, this recognition from the editors of Car and Driver underscores our commitment to delivering vehicles with timeless design, advanced technology, and an exceptional driving experience.”

Genesis’ award-winning lineup offers a comprehensive suite of advanced safety and convenience features, including available Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Monitor, Surround View Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Avoidance Assist, Parking Distance Warning, Highway Drive Assist and more.

Intuitive technology elevates the experience further with an available 27-inch OLED display that seamlessly integrates the gauge cluster and infotainment system, available Bang & Olufsen® premium audio, Genesis Digital Key and Smart Key. Carefully crafted design elements, such as the signature two-line headlamps with micro lens array (MLA) technology and G-Matrix Crest Grille, bring Genesis’ commitment to timeless design to life.

The Editors’ Choice awards were conceived to serve Car and Driver’s growing audience of new-vehicle shoppers by providing them with a comprehensive list of recommended models. Editors’ Choice honorees range from compact sedans and hatchbacks to full-size SUVs and pickup trucks, all of which are the best at fulfilling their mission while maximizing value. Each one also aligns with Car and Driver’s assertion that the best vehicles are the ones that deliver an engaging on-road experience.
