Genesis Motors Canada has unveiled in Canada the Genesis G70 Track Day Special Concept, a one-off project vehicle that embodies the brand’s passion for high-performance driving and refined luxury. The G70 Track Day Special Concept symbolizes one of the many emotionalizing steps Genesis is taking as a brand.

Making its world premiere in Canada this spring, this one-of-a-kind project vehicle builds upon the thrilling foundation of the Genesis Track Taxi Nordschleife, a dedicated performance experience that lets passengers feel the full potential of the Genesis G70 on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. It also pays homage to the production version of the Genesis G70, a dynamic sport sedan rigorously engineered and fine-tuned on the legendary Nürburgring.

The project vehicle has been designed to mirror the low, sporty stance of the G70 Track Taxi. The G70 Track Day Special Concept features the same suspension setup, wheels, and tires as the G70 Track Taxi, along with extra body enhancements like hood air vents as well as front and rear tow cables, giving it an unmistakably sporty appearance. Its striking rear wing also allows for optimal aerodynamics. It also includes “Nordschleife” graphics on the front fenders and on the rear.

Equipped with 19’’ Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and designed to deliver an uncompromising track experience, the G70 Track Day Special Concept enhances the dynamic capabilities of the award-winning Genesis G70 sport sedan. Its design represents a fresh interpretation of the G70 Track Taxi Nordschleife, designed to conquer the infamous “Green Hell.” Its livery adopts a bold new look that stays true to the original concept while incorporating a playful twist and maintaining visual harmony with the original orange-coloured G70 Track Taxi.

Canadian Tour
The global debut of a project vehicle is a rare event in Canada. To ensure that as many people as possible can experience this one-of-a-kind G70, Genesis Motors Canada collaborated with its network of distributors to organize multiple presentations of the G70 Track Day Special Concept at various locations across the country.

“Automotive luxury should be synonymous with high performance capability,” says Eric Marshall, director of Genesis Motors Canada. “We are looking forward to showing our honoured guests in Canada a new side of our brand. We’ve been preparing for this next evolution of Genesis around the world, and on some of the most challenging tracks, notably the Nürburgring. Now it’s time to show Canadian guests and our Distributors a preview of the next era of Genesis through the G70 Track Day Special Concept – an exploration of what is possible when it comes to high performance motoring, the Genesis way.”

The journey will initiate on May 22nd at Genesis Markham and subsequently extend to various Genesis distributors across Canada during the remainder of 2025.
