The cheapest mid-sized SUVs to service in Australia

While mid-sized and large passenger car sales have dropped off, mid-sized SUVs are doing big business here and have become the de facto family car for many Australians.

In the first eight months of 2023, the medium SUV segment was Australia’s most popular according to VFACTS sales data, with 176,062 sales.

Below, we’ve looked at the cost of servicing every mass-market mid-sized SUV in Australia over the first three years of ownership.

We’ve also included the Tesla Model Y as, though it’s pricier than many of these models, it’s a massive seller.

We’ve included links to the manufacturers’ servicing information, where available, for those looking for an in-depth list of what is included at each service.
