Dodge Charger Gets Exclusive $10,995 Mopar ’27 Package, Limited to 270
- Mopar’s limited-edition ’27 Dodge Charger package costs $10,995 on top of either a Charger R/T or Scat Pack Plus, with just 270 cars built worldwide.
- The package adds carbon-fibre body parts, unique graphics and a serialized anniversary plaque marking Mopar’s 90th year, without changing either Charger’s power output.
- Buyers choose between a 420-horsepower R/T and a 550-horsepower Scat Pack Plus, both running a twin-turbo SIXPACK six-cylinder engine with standard all-wheel drive.
Only 270 of These Will Ever Exist
Mopar is marking its 90th anniversary with a Dodge Charger package so limited that fewer than three dealerships’ worth of cars will reach the United States. The Mopar ’27 package goes on sale as a $10,995 option on top of either the Charger R/T or Charger Scat Pack Plus, and Dodge is building exactly 270 of them: 243 for American buyers and 27 for Canada, split evenly across three exterior colors called Bludicrous, Diamond Black and White Knuckle, 90 cars in each.
Dealer orders open in January 2027, with production starting that spring. Given the volume, interested buyers should talk to a Dodge dealer well before orders open rather than waiting to see a finished car in a showroom, as a run this small tends to sell out from order sheets alone.

What $10,995 Adds to the Charger
The package leans on Mopar’s in-house performance arm, Direct Connection, for its hardware. Every Mopar ’27 Charger gets a carbon-fibre front splitter, a carbon-fibre hood with a functional scoop, a carbon-fibre rear spoiler and a cold-air intake system, plus bodyside and hood graphics unique to the package. A serialized under-hood plaque marks each car’s build number, and buyers get an owner kit with a certificate of authenticity and a rendering of their specific car from Mopar’s design team.
None of that hardware changes the engine output on either model. The package is a styling and personalization add-on layered over a Charger that already comes with real performance underneath it, not a power upgrade in its own right.
Two Engines, Two Very Different Charger Buyers
The R/T version pairs the package with the entry point into Dodge’s twin-turbo six-cylinder lineup: a 420-horsepower, 3.0-liter SIXPACK engine with standard all-wheel drive and an on-demand rear-wheel-drive mode, reaching 60mph in 4.6 seconds and covering the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds. It gives buyers who want the limited-edition styling a lower-cost way into the program without stretching for the range-topping engine.
The Scat Pack Plus version goes further, combining the package with 20-by-11-inch wheels, leather performance seats and the Carbon and Suede and Blacktop option packages for the most heavily equipped Mopar ’27 build available from the factory. Its version of the SIXPACK engine uses fully forged internals and larger 54mm turbochargers to reach 550 horsepower, cutting the 0-60mph time to 3.9 seconds and the quarter-mile to 12.2 seconds. Both figures put it ahead of several V8 muscle cars that cost considerably more.
A Fourth Charger, and a Longer History
This is the fourth time Dodge’s Charger has received a full factory Mopar treatment, following limited runs in 2011, 2015 and 2023. Mopar has run a version of this program most years, starting with the 2010 Dodge Challenger, applying the same formula of carbon-fibre parts, unique colors and a capped production number to a different Dodge, Jeep or Ram model each time, from the 2013 Dodge Dart to the 2024 Jeep Gladiator.
Dodge will show the Mopar ’27 Charger for the first time at the Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals on October 30, ahead of a full display at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 3 to 6. Buyers who miss this generation of all-wheel-drive, twin-turbo Chargers should treat these limited packages as the clearest signal of where Dodge’s performance attention is going next, now that the brand has moved on from the V8s that once defined it.
More Parts for Buyers Who Want Them
Dodge is pairing the limited package with three Direct Connection performance parts sold separately through authorized dealers, for owners who want to go further than the Mopar ’27 build itself. A high-performance cat-back exhaust, a performance suspension spring kit and a set of 21-by-11-inch wheels are each listed with their own part numbers, meaning any Charger owner, not just buyers of the limited run, can order them over the counter.
Mopar has not published prices for those individual parts, so buyers should ask a dealer for a quote before assuming the $10,995 package price covers everything shown on the car at its SEMA Show appearance. Dodge typically displays its most heavily modified show cars with several thousand dollars of additional parts layered on top of the production package, and the Mopar ’27 Charger is no exception.
For buyers thinking about resale, limited-production Mopar packages have historically held their value better than equivalent Chargers without the treatment, in large part thanks to the production cap, which guarantees genuine scarcity rather than a marketing number attached to a car dealers can order indefinitely. Whether that holds for an all-wheel-drive, six-cylinder Charger the way it did for the brand’s V8 cars remains to be seen: this generation of Charger is still new enough that there is little resale data to point to yet.
