ID5 and the ID5 GTX, transporting Volkswagen to an electrified future

On November 3rd, Volkswagen presents its first E-SUV coupé, the all-electric top model with premium features based on the modular electric drive matrix (MEB). The new ID.5¹ and the sporty ID.5 GTX² with dual-motor all-wheel drive inspire with expressive design, long-distance capability and the latest software generation.

Volkswagen is transforming into the direction of electrification and digitalisation with the ACCELERATE! strategy. The ID.5 gives Volkswagen further impetus on its way to becoming a software-oriented mobility provider. With the third model to be launched in Europe, the all-electric ID. family moves into the popular, premium-oriented SUV coupé segment.

The world premiere of the ID.5 and ID.5 GTX starts on Wednesday, 03.11.2021 at 14:00 CET.
