Emeya: Lotus sets reveal date for its Porsche Taycan rival

Lotus’ first electric sedan will be called the Emeya.

The new model, until now known as the Type 133, will be revealed on September 7.

The Geely-owned brand has published a brief teaser video on social media, revealing some details of the new model.

It appears to feature two L-shaped strips of LED daytime running lights (DRLs), while down back there’s a full-width light bar and a prominent deployable spoiler.

Adjust the brightness and you can also make out the heavily sculpted bonnet and a belt line that gently curves upwards.
