A blue Kia Seltos has launched through a stone wall and landed upside down on a crowded Sydney beach, narrowly missing pedestrians and beachgoers.

A blue Kia Seltos has crashed upside down onto busy Balmoral Beach near Mosman in Sydney, according to reports.

The car crossed a grass lawn and footpath before smashing through a stone wall and ending up on the sand, on its roof. It’s understood no one was hurt in the incident.

As reported on Facebook by local community group North Shore Mums, the incident occurred at about 1pm on Monday 25 September, while the beach was full of people enjoying the spring sunshine.

The driver and passenger of the Kia were unhurt, and luckily there were no beachgoers on the sand where the car landed.

Emergency services were able to secure the scene and recovery efforts are now underway.
