Australian motoring legends gather for fun ‘Retirement Rampage’ video

A star-studded lineup of motorsport and motoring personalities have gathered to produce the latest ‘advertainment’ video for Supercheap Auto and their sponsors. Called ‘Retirement Rampage’, the clips see a number of ‘aged’ drivers and personalities race to a bingo game (called by television personality Grant Denyer no less) that has been bumped up in the schedule.

The cast, including music legend Carl Cox, and YouTube personalities Marty and Moog from Mighty Car Mods, and Al and Woody from The Skid Factory, race through the ‘Redline Village’ retirement community in a variety of vehicles. Drivers James Moffat and Matt Mingay are joined by Molly Taylor, Dave Reynolds and Chaz Mostert in a competition to reach the bingo tables first, only to find they have been beaten to the punch.

It may not have the production levels of the Hoonigan Gymkhana series, but it’s well-made, well driven, and properly entertaining.

The clip is the ninth in the promotional series that started back in 2015.
