Video: Italy’s Pininfarina unveils electric hypercar without a windscreen

Helmet recommended: Italian design firm Pininfarina has revealed an electric hypercar that can exceed 300km/h – and has no windscreen.

The car-making spin-off of Italian design firm Pininfarina – which has styled a fleet of iconic models from Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and more –has unveiled a new electric hypercar with a multimillion-dollar price and no windscreen.

The B95 is named after the ‘Barchetta’ body design, and the 95th anniversary Pininfarina will celebrate in 2025, when the car is due to begin production.

It is one of the first electric cars in the class of ultra-exclusive, multimillion-dollar supercars known as ‘speedsters’, with two seats and no roof, windscreen or rear window.

Derived from the hard-top Pininfarina Battista, the B95 is powered by the same 120kWh battery and four electric motors developing 1397kW and 2340Nm <
