VFACTS: Lexus breaks annual Australian sales record with four months to go
Toyota’s luxury division Lexus has surpassed 10,000 new-vehicle sales in a calendar year in Australia for the first time – and there are still four months left to run.
Lexus has reported more than 10,000 new luxury vehicles as sold in Australia in a calendar year for the first time in its 33-year history.
And if it continues its current momentum – doubling its sales so far this year compared to the same period in 2022 – it would be on track to deliver more than 14,000 cars by the end of this year.
The luxury division of the world’s largest car maker – Japanese giant Toyota – has reported 9985 vehicles as sold in Australia between January and August 2023, up 101.7 per cent on the same period in 2022 (4950 sales).
