Ram 1500 Express Is Back In Black

Ram brand will reintroduce the Ram 1500 Express model with an eye-catching starting price of $44,495, which includes destination. Loaded with attitude, the Ram 1500 Express is one of the best values in the Ram 1500 lineup – available in Crew Cab and Quad Cab body styles with 2WD or 4WD drivetrains, giving buyers an outstanding combination of content and looks.

“The Express is the latest drop in Ram’s product offensive,” said Tim Kuniskis, CEO, Ram brand. “We started the 2025 model year with a new Ram 1500 and new Ram Heavy Duty lineup. With the platforms refreshed, we begin rolling out trim level enhancements.”

“The sunset of our Ram 1500 Classic makes the Express a natural front-runner. We have 25 more product announcements planned within the next 18 months, ranging from mild to wild with something for every truck buyer,” said Kuniskis.

The Ram 1500 Express sports a menacing, badgeless monochromatic paint scheme with gloss black grille surrounds and body-color front and rear bumpers.

This new model also marks the return of the Black Express package for 2026 model year — one of the most popular trucks ever offered on the Ram 1500. When orders opened in summer 2013, Black Express accounted for more than 20% of the trucks coming off the Ram 1500 production line. The package was also offered in 2019 with equal popularity.

The 2026 Ram 1500 Black Express package ($995, Quad and Crew 4WD only) adds the following:

• Upgraded interior with black cloth bucket seats, 7-inch gauge cluster, floor console

The Ram 1500 is assembled at Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) in Michigan.

Orders for the 2026 Ram 1500 Express are open with availability in the third quarter of 2025.
