Alfa Romeo details its updated high-performance flagships

Alfa Romeo Australia has announced the mid-life updated versions of the flagship Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are due to arrive at local dealers in December 2023.

The arrival of these flagship Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models will follow around six months after the updated core range.

Pricing is up $2000 on the regular Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifolgio. They’re now priced from $153,700 before on-roads and $162,700 before on-roads, respectively.

Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition

In addition to the regular Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifolgio, Alfa Romeo Australia has secured five examples of the limited-edition Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition and three examples of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition.

All eight of the Australian-bound limited-edition Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio have already been sold.

These were priced from $166,700 before on-roads and $175,200 before on-roads, respectively. A full pricing list is at the bottom of this story.

Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition

These two limited-edition models were created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Quadrifoglio badge. Only 100 examples of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition being produced globally.

Setting these limited-edition models apart from the rest of the range are items like gold brake calipers, gold commemorative badging, black and Alcantara leather with golden stitching, and a ‘100’ stitching next to a golden Quadrifoglio on the dashboard.

Australian Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition models receive an exposed carbon roof, whereas Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario Edition models receive a panoramic sunroof as standard. These are both optional on the respective regular vehicles.

Giulia Quadrifoglio

They entire Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio range continues to be powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine producing 375kW of power and 600Nm of torque.

Drive in the Giulia is sent to the rear wheels only, whereas the Stelvio features an all-wheel drive system. Alfa Romeo claims the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 3.9 and 3.8 seconds, respectively.

The cosmetic changes to the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio mirrors what was altered on the core ranges.

A highlight includes new matrix LED headlights that have a ‘3+3’ lighting signature and comprise 15 different LED segments.

Both models receive refreshed tail light signatures, but the Giulia Quadrifoglio gets a smoked glossy black finish, whereas the Stelvio Quadrifoglio gets a transparent finish.

Inside there’s a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that can be configured in four different layouts – Evolved, Relax, Heritage, and Race.

The latter of these instrument cluster layouts shows “all the essential information every driver wants to keep under control”, like the tachometer, speedometer, and shift light for manual driving.

There’s also a new 3D finish in the genuine carbon fibre on the dash, doors and centre console.

Both models can be optioned with the $8350 Sparco carbon fibre front seats with electrical height adjustment, and manual forward, backward, and backrest angle adjustment. It’s worth noting this removes power bolsters, heated front seats, and the heated steering wheel.

Alfa Red comes as standard, with the metallic paints costs an additional $2200, and the special paints cost an extra $4000.
