The Grand California, Volkswagen’s most spacious motorhome designed for the biggest adventures, has been updated for 2025 model year to further enhance its appeal and convenience. Prices start from £84,046 for the Grand California 600, or £86,800 for the Grand California 680, with both models available to order from today.

The ever-popular Grand California has gained a host of updates, most notably the interior has been refreshed to include the latest dashboard and digital cockpit. The new 10-inch infotainment screen (upgradable to 12.9-inch) comes with App Connect as standard, giving customers easy access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the go.

In the main living area, there is a brand new five-inch, portrait touchscreen – first introduced on the new California – to control camping functions such as the auxiliary heating and ambient lighting.

With the California app, now available for Grand California, customers can connect to their vehicle, turning their camper into a smart home on four wheels. This provides access to camper-specific settings, including water levels and battery charge, allowing customers to keep an eye on the vehicle status throughout the trip.

At the rear, the exterior badging has been updated to bring it in line with the new California.

The advanced Grand California 680 model is available with either front-wheel drive (FWD) or 4MOTION all-wheel drive. The engine line-up has been updated for Euro VI HD emissions standards. The 2.0-litre TDI engine – for both FWD and 4MOTION models – now has an output of 163PS, with torque of 410Nm.

All customers of the Grand California will benefit from the Volkswagen 5+ Promise: comprising five services, two MOTs, a five-year warranty, and five years’ Roadside Assistance.

To celebrate order books opening, until 31st March 2025, the Grand California 600 and 680 models are available with 6.9% APR Representative on a Solutions Personal Contract Plan (PCP), with a deposit contribution of £3,500 from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. This is available on contracts of between 18-months to 60-months. Throughout the month of March, customers can also benefit from an additional £1,000 deposit contribution during the March Sales Event.

Building on the success of previous campervan generations, the Grand California offers a spacious and thoughtfully designed interior, integrating advanced technology with a platform derived from the proven Crafter.
