Ferrari’s latest mid front-mounted naturally-aspirated V12 two-seat GT, the 12Cilindri, won the title of “Luxury Car of the Year” in The Motor Awards 2024 at News UK’s office at London Bridge last night. The Motor Awards are curated by the motoring journalists and editors from News UK’s portfolio of media titles: The Sun, The Sunday Times, Driving.co.uk and Times Luxx.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri is inspired by the legendary Grand Tourers of the 1950s and ‘60s, embodying the front-mounted Ferrari V12 two-seater mission with its effortless combination of elegance, versatility, and performance. The car represents the latest evolution in this bloodline and continues that unique legacy, elevating it towards new standards in performance, comfort, and design. Its silhouette exudes sportiness and class: simple yet harmonious lines feature an integrated active aerodynamic device to guarantee peerless performance, a front-hinged bonnet that exalts the view of the engine bay, and the two twin tailpipes that have become a signature of Ferrari’s 12-cylinder cars.

Ferrari’s Luca Breveglieri, Head of the 12Cilindri development team, collected the award and commented: “It is a privilege to represent all my colleagues in Maranello to receive this prestigious award at The Motors Awards for the latest incarnation of an important and iconic model line which can trace its lineage as a 2-seat front-engined V12 all the way back to the very beginnings of Ferrari in 1947.”

This latest award for the Ferrari 12Cilindri brings the total of The Motor Awards for the Maranello marque to four: the 488 Pista in 2019, the 296 GTB in 2022 and the Roma Spider in 2023.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri, like all Ferrari production sports cars, is provided with a 4-year warranty in the UK, and a 7-year Genuine Maintenance service package that covers all routine maintenance costs for the first 7-years of the vehicle and which is also transferable to subsequent owners.
