Hispano Suiza has unveiled the Carmen Sagrera hypercar for the first time outside Spain at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. Just a month after its initial reveal in Barcelona, the Carmen Sagrera, the hypercar that celebrates Hispano Suiza’s 120th Anniversary, completed its first kilometres on the demanding Goodwood hillclimb, solidifying its place in the automotive world.

Hispano Suiza introduced one of this year’s Festival of Speed highlights to the audience at Goodwood.

On Thursday morning, the event’s opening day, the iconic Spanish brand showcased its latest creation to the media and authorities on its stand. The presentation was hosted by British model and driver Jodie Kidd, alongside Hispano Suiza’s CEO Sergio Martínez Campos, head of design Francesc Arenas, and CTO Juan Fernández. Attendees were given an in-depth look at the numerous innovations incorporated into the new Carmen model.

Following the presentation, Luis Pérez-Sala, Hispano Suiza ambassador and former Formula 1 driver, took the Carmen Sagrera for its dynamic debut in front of the public. Boasting 1,114 hp of electric power, aerodynamic enhancements, and a new 103 kWh battery, this latest version of the Carmen range demonstrated its racetrack-born capabilities.

Sergio Martínez Campos, CEO of Hispano Suiza, remarked, “It is a real honour to present the new Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera here in Goodwood to the passionate British public. This is undoubtedly the home of excellence and high performance, where Hispano Suiza belongs.”

Luis Pérez-Sala added, “I am thrilled to have driven the first kilometres of the Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera in its public debut at Goodwood. The hillclimb course is extremely demanding, and you can feel the warmth of the fans and see their excitement with the appearance of a hypercar like the Sagrera. It’s a delight to get behind the wheel of this model, as it’s a hypercar with the spirit of a thoroughbred racer.”

This year, Hispano Suiza has its own stand at the Festival of Speed, a new feature compared to previous editions, allowing the brand to welcome thousands of fans during the event. Additionally, the brand is launching its new Capsule Collection in an exclusive pre-sale. This collection evokes the true essence of the Gentleman Driver, featuring highly demanded products such as polo shirts, T-shirts, jackets, and caps. Post-event, the collection will be available in the brand’s online boutique at : https://www.hispanosuiza.boutique/es/.
