2024 Ford F-150 update set for Detroit motor show debut

The Ford F-150 is set to launch in Australia imminently, however an updated version is just around the corner.

Ford CEO Jim Farley announced during the company’s second quarter 2023 earnings conference call the Blue Oval will reveal the facelifted 2024 F-150 at this year’s Detroit motor show, which commences September 13.

During the call Mr Farley refers to the vehicle as an “all-new F-150 and F-150 Power Boost hybrid”, but it’s understood to just be a mid-life update. The current, 14th-generation Ford F-150 was only revealed in 2020.

Spied prototypes in the US, as reported by Ford Authority among a wide variety of other publications, show the updated F-150 will receive refreshed bumpers and lighting signatures.
